Hydrovac Nation is proud to announce that our MEMBER of the month for April, 2019 is:
Nicolette Jayleen Callihoo
Nicolette is a daily contributor to the Hydrovac Nation Facebook page, as visual storyteller and conversation starter. Nicole has been an active member of Hydrovac Nation since August 2018, and is always available with her comments, quick wit and great sense of humor.
Nicolette started hydrovacing in Edmonton, AB, as a swamper over 2 years ago, and prior to that she was involved in a few shutdowns in the tool crib for CRNL in Fort MacMurray. Nicolette currently works for both Lonestar West and Clean Harbors and, having worked through 6 Alberta winters, she is now dreaming of moving somewhere warmer…something we all dream of.
Nicolette feels that the oil and gas industry is an amazing industry to be a part of. She loves that she meets people from all different walks of life and feels an underlying respect for one another, she says, ‘It’s like you’re part of one big family, and an added bonus is that you get to play in the mud all day…what more could you ask for?’
Nicolette loves showing up on site, setting up and doing her own thing, (but she is always hoping to show up few boys while doing it).
To quote Nicolette, “don’t half ass two things, full ass one thing”.
Congratulations Nicolette, you deserve this!
