I recently had the chance to give a Dynablast 8 gpm spinner a try at work. My first impression was that it was great. It’s a nice light unit with a good strong plastic armour. I used it with a 1/2″ aluminum wand and it was quite a pleasure to dig with (although I would prefer it in a 10 gpm configuration). It worked quite well in many different types of soil, from sandy clay to heavy rock. The stainless construction of the head gave me confidence in its robustness. The spin speed was fast, with very little vibration, when wearing insulated winter gloves I barely noticed it. Some other spinners I’ve used would vibrate intensely and cause minor numbness in my hands, this was not the case at all with the Dynablast. I also really like how easily the plastic could be replaced if damaged.
All in all, I really liked the Dynablast and I hope to add one of these toys to my full time arsenal in the near future.
